I paid nearly $15k for this stunning, one-of-a-kind gown at Kleinfeld in Manhattan. Even though I had zero intentions of buying a dress that day, it literally took my breath away when I tried it on. I ended up trying countless designer gowns on over the span of 2 different bridal appointments at Kleinfeld. But the fusion of timeless elegance with the beautiful detailing encompassed by this dress made deciding on this dress a no-brainer. I had never seen anything like it nor felt so beautiful in my entire life. I just had to have it. The countless other gowns couldn't compare.
Pnina took my measurements herself and ordered me a size 10 in order to allow ample room for alterations. I was a street size 4 at the time. It took a year to hand make the dress. It's covered in Swarovski crystals. The dress has been stored in its original packaging ever since it was finally completed. I took it out to snap a quick mirror photo as seen in this listing. I'm a size 2, 5'5", and 135 pounds in that photo. Since I never had alterations done, the dress could easily be altered to fit anyone smaller. The corset back adds a lot of room for flexibility in sizing. The dress would very easily fit street sizes 6-8 as is.
